Most of you know the name Sean Wotherspoon by now. In 2017 Nike invited 12 people to show their sneaker designs, Sean won the contest and a year later he and Nike in collaboration dropped the Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon, arguably one of the hottest shoes that got released that year. And even now, sneakerhead or not will look twice when they see you wearing them.
Two years later Sean collaborated on a new pair in collaboration with ASICS and Atmos, after breaking up with Nike. He said: “I’ve been done working with [Nike], at least on another SW collab, for a while. Still lots of good friends there. I help when asked, but being able to spread my wings again is the best feeling ever.”
This new pair stands out because Wotherspoons own light colors and both shoes differ a lot. The ASICS logo is replaceable for other colors, in total 5. With this customisable feature you can always make this pair a little more outstanding if that is even necessary.
We from Hyped Polar Bear think this has been the nicest ASICS sneaker yet and we'll be dropping a pair for retail on Saturday the 14th of July. Make sure you don't sleep!
